Optimum Dry Ice Blasting Car Industry Food Processing and Aerospace Industry
Christmas is always a busy period with dry ice blasting. Factory shut down demands critical maintenance and dry ice blasting forms a very large part of this process.
This particular shut down period was very much dominated by the Food Industry, the Car Manufacturing Industry, with a little bit of the Aerospace Industry thrown in for good measure!
I would like to thank all of my crews for their hard work and dedication over this busy period. All jobs were completed safely, on time and on budget.
The start of 2016 is showing more promising signs in the world of dry ice blasting. We have already signed a service contract with a major food production company which will run for 3 years and we are in talks with Jaguar Land Rover in regards to expanding our current operations to their other sites.
So a great start to 2016 for Optimum Dry Ice Blasting. 53 days of blasting already booked in, adding to our day to day contracts, makes the first 3 months of the year very lively indeed.
Expansion planning for this year will see another 2-man crew mobilised. This will bring a total of 4 new employees into the company over a calendar year and will aid in hitting service level targets.
Breakthrough Year
Breakthrough areas we are targeting this year will be in developing more niche processes to combine with dry ice blasting. Our development of rope access work has been a great success and we have now booked out an additional 40 hours of work into our operations. We have similar plans in other niche areas of the business but plans are in early stages at the moment.
The signs are good and that we are showing more expansion for 2016.
