Dry Ice Blasting Rope Access
Optimum are the UK’s first dry ice blasting company to incorporate rope access into our operations. We recognised that many industries have a regular requirement to access hard to reach areas where scaffold or MEWPS simply cant reach. Utilising rope access work means we can now reach into areas that were previously inaccessible, or where long shutdowns are required to install scaffolding.
Advantages
Dry Ice blasting has many advantages over grit blasting and water jetting when working in hard access and sensitive areas. As dry ice ice blasting is a dry, dust free and chemical free process, we can deliver rope access solutions where the mess of grit or the risk of water ingress is not an option. Food factories use our service extensively, especially in sensitive areas.
Our rope access crews are fully trained to IRATA Rope Access and Direct Entry Level 3 and combined with our expertise in confined space, working at height and explosion risk control (ATEX certification) we believe we can offer a full turnkey and unique solution in surface removal and abrasive cleaning solutions using industrial rope access teams.
Results for Rope Access are:
- Better cleaning.
