Oak Beam Cleaning and Restoration

Dry ice blasting can be used to strip old paint and varnish from wooden beams. By using ‘snow’ splitter discs in the dry ice gun nozzle and a low air flow of 35 psi, Optimum are able to delicately tease off the paint, varnish and dirt usually found on old oak beams. The gentle nature of the process means that there is no damage to the surface of the beams.
