Optimum are now selling dry ice blocks, slices and pellets

Optimum have recently become a distributor for dry ice blocks, pellets and slices. This exciting new development is a product of the amount of requests we get for people wanting dry ice.

It was apparent that there is a demand for the product, with calls ranging from customers who want dry ice for their dinner party, car body shop owners who use it to pull dents out of cars, a veterinary practice who needed dry ice to send a blood sample, organisers who want to create special effects and most of all, bars and restaurants, who use dry ice in cocktails etc.

We are rolling out supply and delivery to the West Midlands area only to begin with, with a plan to supply the whole of the UK early next year. This target will also be when we will be in full production of dry ice at our new, purpose built premises.

To get the ball rolling we are running a competition on Facebook and Twitter (links are on the home page) where we are giving away 10 slices (5kg) of dry ice to 3 lucky winners. This will be delivered to the UK only, just before Halloween.

Entrants should be aware that dry ice can cause harm if handled incorrectly and a safety handling sheet will be provided for the winners.
